Online Banking makes it easy to manage your accounts anytime, anywhere. You can check balances, transfer money, pay bills, and monitor your transactions from your computer or mobile device. 

Follow the steps below to access your account for the first time.


Logging In to Online Banking

  1. Go to the River Valley Credit Union website.
  2. Click Login at the top of the page.
  3. Enter your username.
  4. Enter your password.
  5. Follow any additional security steps if prompted, such as verifying your device or entering a one-time security code.

Once you’re logged in, you’ll have secure access to your accounts and online services.


First Time Using Online Banking?

If this is your first time logging in, you may be asked to:

  • Accept the online banking terms and conditions
  • Create security questions to help protect your account
  • Confirm your contact information

These steps help keep your account secure and verify your identity.


Creating or Updating Your Username

Your username is what you’ll use each time you log in. If you need to create or change it:

Mobile App

  • Tap Change Username from the Home screen

Online Banking

  • Select Change Username under Featured Products on the home page

Username Requirements

Usernames must follow these guidelines:

  • 1–20 characters long
  • Not case sensitive
  • Cannot contain special characters
  • Cannot begin or end with a space
  • Cannot include your account number
  • Cannot include your first or last name
  • Cannot be all numbers

Choose something easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess.


Access Online Banking on Your Phone

You can also manage your accounts through the River Valley Credit Union Mobile App, which allows you to:

  • Check balances
  • Transfer money
  • Pay bills
  • Deposit checks
  • Receive account alerts
